Partial & Total Joint Replacement

Live a Fuller, More Active Life With Total Joint Replacement or Partial Joint Replacement

In cases of severe arthritis and joint injuries or defects, individuals may suffer permanent joint damage. In such instances, joint replacement surgery may be necessary. During the procedure, the damaged joint is surgically removed and replaced with a plastic or metal device, called prosthesis.

Joint replacement surgeries generally are most successful for large joints, such as the hip or knee. And with today’s technological advancements, researchers estimate that hip or knee replacements last at least 20 years in 80 percent of patients. After a successful surgery and rehabilitation, individuals are able to use their new joints without pain.

When it comes to partial joint replacement and total joint replacement, patients can trust Kayal Orthopaedic Center to relieve their pain and get them moving again. Dr. Kayal and the  board-certified New Jersey orthopaedic doctors at Kayal Orthopaedic Center provide cutting-edge care at offices in Franklin Lakes, Glen Rock and Westwood. They hold admission privileges at Chilton Medical Center, Hackensack Medical Center Main and Pascack Valley, and The Valley Hospital, making them not only the right choice but a convenient choice for patients throughout Bergen County, including Paramus and Ridgewood.
